Following this, on the 11th–13th of October 2008, the Caribbean Academy of Sciences (CAS), in collaboration with the Government of Grenada, St. George’s University Grenada, The University of the West Indies, and the University of the Southern Caribbean, presented its 16th General Meeting and Biennial Annual Conference at the Grenada Grand Beach Resort, Grande Anse.
The theme of the conference was ‘Science and Technology: Vehicles for Sustainable Development’.
